The skies are clearing up. It is time to get outside and explore some of the many fun events happening this weekend from Kendamas and food trucks to pet parks to a Wild West showdown. Check out the five top things to do in the Valley this weekend.
Kendama Sunday Fun Day
The folks who run the popular social media site on Facebook Temecula Talk invite families to a Kendama Day in the Park. Come on out and with your family and enjoy jumpers, hot dogs, and, of course, bring those Kendamas. Woot woot! Kids jump free, courtesy of All 4 Fun Jumpers. Heavenly Hot Dogs will be there to purchase lunch; Gabe the House Guy will be giving one free cotton candy to each child.

Western Days in Temecula
Rumor has it there is a bank robbery and shootout at high noon in Old Town Temecula. Performances will be held throughout the weekend at the corner of 4th and Front Streets in Old Town Temecula. Come on down and find out if the sheriff takes back his town.

Food truck Festival in Menifee
Home spun community fun at the first annual Menifee United Way Food Truck Festival at MSJC Menifee Campus. This is a family friendly event with food trucks, an activity center, petting zoo, face painting, beer garden and the band Illegal Sweedes - Sveedes. Menifee's The Mason Jar Brewing Company will be the beer garden sponsor.

Dog Festival Fun at Country Kennels in Murrieta
Bring your dogs and have an afternoon of outdoor fun, food, and festivities with Splash Dog Competitions, Flyball Competitions, Winnie Dog Races, and so much more. The “Dawg Waterpark”, is a place where your dog can have fun swimming, playing fetch, dock diving, and playing with other dogs while under your supervision. Food vendors will be available.

Cowboy Days Art & Music Fundraiser in Anza
The third annual Cowboy Days event is proudly hosted by the Anza Valley Lions Club at their Arena on Kirby Road off the 371 Highway in beautiful Anza, California. This event that raises money for art and music in schools topped over 1,000 attendees in 2014. It is a day of equestrian events, entertainment, live music and good food. Watch live team roping, barrel racing, and some other fun horse events. The Barnyard Boyz, Michael Thomas and Friends, and Nameless are all scheduled to play.
