TEMECULA: Temecula Valley High School Football Boosters is hosting a huge Earth Day event, Saturday April 22 at the TVHS parking lot.
The Booster Club will be teaming up with Temecula Recycling and Savers to gather all household items, clothes, shoes, jewelry, electronics working and non-working e-waste, bottles, cans, metals, etc.
This is the day to clean out your home and purge all that junk you didn’t know what to do with that was laying around in the backyard or garage.
You can take your recyclables or large items to Temecula Recycling and donate all proceeds to TVHS until the end of April.
The football team will receive money from both companies based on weight. So start cleaning and have your goods go to a good cause.
“Our football program receives very little money from the athletic department or the school district; we are trying to rebuild our football program this season. This event is free and we will be giving out tax receipts,” said a representative from the TVHS Booster Club in a press release. “Please help our boys make this season a successful one. You can even ask neighbors if they have stuff to get rid of and tell them about our free event.”
